In April of 1998, three mothers met to share the grief of the death of their children. They felt the need for a parent's support group in Georgia's Bartow County area, so they formed the Parent's Grief Support Group. The first meeting was held on May 12, 1998.
We are a group of parents who meet to share the grief of the death of our children. We listen....understand....and try to be of help to other parents who have experienced the death of a child.
Our meetings are at the Carterville Medical Center, 960 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Classroom #1, Cartersville, Georgia on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. We hope that all parents who come to our meetings will leave encouraged and a little less saddened knowing they do not walk alone.
